Description: More than 30 students attend this day care and kindergarten. Generally, they come from poor families that work in the market where the school is located. The school itself still has poor infrastructure and lacks an array of items and opportunities it needs to be a better center of learning.

As a teaching assistant, participants can help take steps towards improving the children's well-being and education. Participants spend time with the children, playing, singing, feeding and taking care of them. In the free time they have away from the school, participants will have a chance to explore the city of Cusco, including a walking tour of this landmark city of the Incan empire.
