Description: TLS Language School also owns a Foundation Called F.A.C.E Foundation for Arts Culture and Education. This Foundation was set up to raise money to build an eco-friendly school in Krabi, Thailand- an area affected by the Tsunami.

The owner of TLS Language School, Tewi (1 month away from completing her PHD Dr Degree in Educational Management) was a victim of this tragic event. Her mother, a local teacher, was killed by the tsunami. Our Foundation can offer a volunteer visa for any teacher out there who would like to volunteer there services to our Foundation. We have access to hundreds of schools that would be glad to see you.

Qualifications: The law in Thailand states that you can get a work permit if:

   a) you have a 4 year educational degree
   b) any other 4 year degree will do if submitted with a TEFL, TOFEL, ect.
   c) Under new legislation all applicants for a teachers license must attend a 20 hour Thai culture and ethics course (TLS has this license)

Our 200 hour Thai Language and Culture Course comes with a 15 month Education Visa. This can be extended by a further 2 years. It offers a lot of the benefits of a work permit: you can get a bank account, you can get medical insurance, also a driving license, and as a foreign student you are able to supplement your income. With this visa, you only have to do the first visa run then report in Bangkok every 3 months, saving you time and money.
