Description: Elebaires offers you a large variety of personalized volunteering programs to break the global and cultural barriers by participating in a social service.

Nowadays, around the world, travel experiences and international studies, foreign language knowledge and the real socio cultural life of countries all over the world, are more important. That's why we offer you the possibility of giving back to the community while participating in a culturally enriching experience.

* We believe that through volunteering, we can encourage a fundamental cross-cultural exchange, enabling both the volunteer and the organization to have an in valuable experience that is mutually beneficial.
* We can give poor children and teenagers the opportunity to express their feelings and opinions about the world surrounding them through creativite expression through workshops.

* Recretational and educational centers in marginalized neighborhoods and slums (villas) - Circus, photography, dance, sports, English, tutoring etc.

We are constantly adding new organizations so please let us know if you would like to volunteer with a particular type of organization or if you have a certain ability or interest and we will do our best to find an appropiate placement for you.

Volunteer Placements

How placement works:

Volunteer placements are matched as closely as possible to the students' individual interests. Once students submit their enrollment form, Elebaires begins the process of finding high quality placements for interested students.

At the time of enrollment, Elebaires will provide students with information about our partner NGOs for the student to choose from. Once the student has chosen, Elebaires will confirm and coordinate the accepted volunteer placement with the selected organization.

ELEBAIRES offers social and cultural activities and workshops every day to live and experience Buenos Aires in a unique way.

Our Special Activities are optional complimentary activities that each student can participate in to enjoy, practice and learn more while studying Spanish.

After school activities: Each week you will receive a guide with all the activities that ELEBAIRES organized for you. Some of them include: walking tours in Buenos Aires´s most traditional neighborhoods, bike tours, tango shows, visits to the city´s most wonderful museums, soccer tickets to the most exciting matches, afternoon conversation classes in our Conversation Club, a school dinner to go out with friends, meet new people and taste Argentine food, free club entrances, and much much more!!!!

Note: These activities are organized monthly and you can book them at the school every Monday. The cost of these activities is not included in the course. They are all optional and have reasonable prices according to our student´s budget.

Accomodations can be arranged for you as well.

Qualifications: Eligibility: All students who are enrolled in an Elebaires Spanish course for at least two weeks are eligible for placement.

Spanish level: Volunteers have no minimum Spanish level.

Time commitment: The minimum time commitment for a volunteer placement is 2 weeks for at least 4 hours per week.
