Description:
The project is based in Maramba Youth Center near Livingstone. The theme is: "Together we stand up to protect children against any form of abuse and prevent HIV/AIDS among the youth". In the frame of the international volunteer project, participants from different countries will be giving music concerts for the local communities, and will also help cleaning orphanages, teaching children in different schools about children's rights, will organize a "children's rights football match", debates, etc. HIV/AIDS outreach activities will also be run for the youth in the second week of the project. There is an extra fee of 210 Euro for participation in this project, intended to support the hosting organization.
Highlights:
Maramba Youth Center is located 15 km from Livingstone town and 38 km from the Mighty Victoria Falls. It is about 472 km from the capital city Lusaka.
