Description:
We focus on establishing a good match between the volunteer or intern's skill set and interests, and the needs of the host organization. We provide all necessary information and training that the volunteer or intern will need, as well as perform routine site visits, to ensure that the experience is a mutually beneficial one. Volunteers can be enrolled in the following programs: 1. Education Programs: - Official English Teaching Program - Sport Development Program - Official Mental Stimulation 2. Health & Medical Programs: - Official Hospital / Clinic Program 3. Central Jungle Programs 4. Others: - Office and Administration Assistant - Handwork, Art and Trade
Highlights:
Living with a host family; learning Spanish (optional); teaching and helping indigenous children and adults; exploring the spectacular Peruvian region on the side trips by bike, foot and on horseback. Taking cultural workshops and excursions. Amazing community interaction.

Cost Include Description:
- Free Spanish course for the first week - Accommodation with a local family, including three meals a day - All contacts, interviews and placements are organised by us - On-site orientation and information sessions that will enable you to have a better understanding of Peruvian culture and history - Free pick-up from Huancayo bus-station - Day trips out to places of local interest - An initial interview with the volunteer co-ordinator at the beginning of your stay, to assess your strengths and ensure that you are happy with your placement and accommodation - An evaluation meeting upon the completion of your volunteer placement - A certificate of completion

Typical Volunteer: The program is open to any applicant who sincerely wishes to share his/her experience and skills.
Everyone is welcome to apply, although a suggested minimum age is 19. We have had volunteers from all walks of life complete our program, from English graduates to a retired librarian from South Africa.
A basic requirement is a commitment to our program and a willingness to offer the best of yourself, so that children are not disappointed by programmes that are not completed effectively.
