Description:
This is an exceptional opportunity for Indian girls who have never been enrolled in school to receive comprehensive education up to a 5th grade level at an intensive six month training camp. The camp needs volunteers to teach, assist and lead activities within the school and organize special workshops for the young women that focus on positive skill building. Volunteers will act as positive role models for the students helping them to feel secure with their new education and ready to be leaders of their own future! A majority of the volunteer's time will be dedicated to educating the girls in Math, English and computers. Volunteers will also lead sports training and creativity exercises.
