Description:
- We are looking for people to help us develop our small-holding in the West Algarve. Minimum stay is two weeks.
- Duties will include care of horses and dogs plus helping us to develop the small holding including weeding, clearing, planting, running irrigation and developing animal housing. 4 hours per day, Tuesday to Friday and then all day Saturday.
- Accomodation would be in our caravan which has an electric supply, a seperate bedroom, a kitchenette with gas rings, plus a dining / seating area. There is a portaloo in the caravan which would need to be maintained by the volunteers.
- Volunteers will be provided with food to cook for themselves in the caravan.
- The accommodation is suitable for a couple or two individuals as the seating area can also be converted into a bed.

This is an incredibly beautiful area within a stones throw of the natural parque it is great for walking, horse riding and surfing.

As we are on the outskirts of the village (5/10 min walk) and this is a quiet area, we feel that this project is more suitable for two individuals traveling together or a couple.

There is only one caravan so individuals traveling together would have to share. It is possible to make a second bed in the dining area or sleep on the bench seats.

Typical Volunteer: No typical volunteer. The land is quite hard so you will need to be fit to work with it. Looking for people who are happy to work, friendly and fun.

Age Range: no limit other than healthy enough to work

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi and South African Participants. This Program is also open to Couples and Individuals
