Conservation Program in the Amazon Rainforest and Andean Mountains

Highlights: There are many opportunities for conservation projects in the Amazon Rainforest, along Peru's Andean mountains. Volunteers have the opportunity to focus on rainforest conservation, economic development, and indigenous rights, among others.

Typical Volunteer: Help Amazonian indigenous communities to organize themselves to face globalization. Indigenous communities are settled in large territories respecting and living in close relationship with nature. Nowadays new risks are endangering their pristine world. Oil prospectors, loggers, coca farmers, private inns are depleting or privatizing their territories. Volunteers will help indigenous communities to run conservation programs.

Age Range: 18+

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European and Kiwi Participants. This Program is also open to Families, Couples and Individuals
