Leaders for Tikkun Olam provides a unique opportunity for 25 young professionals to connect to Judaism through social involvement and international development, while experiencing life in Israel with Israeli peers. Leaders for Tikkun Olam is made of three main parts: * Part one The Israeli experience - Participants share four months of studying, training, volunteering and group-building process in Israel while being intensely involved in Israel's dynamic social and cultural life. * Part two Humanitarian work in India - Participants will volunteer in a humanitarian project in for three months, gaining valuable experience in hands - on community empowerment work. * Part three Back in Israel and building the future - One month of advancing long term Jewish-Israeli worldwide Tikkun Olam enterprises, evaluation and assessment. Program Extras * Gain training and field experience in international development and project management. * Work and train with the next generation of leaders in international development from the US, Europe and Israel. * Live in Israel and India. * Prepare yourself for professional job opportunities and for further studies in international development, international affairs, and other related fields. * Be a part of the future "International Jewish service Corps ". Leaders for Tikkun Olam is open to college/university graduates aged 21-30. Registration: July 1st 2008- October 15th 2008 Places are limited. LTO program combines an intensive learning process with hands-on experience in international development and community empowerment in a 8 months program in Israel and India, while offering a rich social and cultural interchange. Highlights:
Leaders for Tikkun Olam is a Jewish-Israeli Tikkun Olam program and a prototype for the "International Jewish Service Corps", an initiative of "Adam LeAdam" and MASA. Leaders for Tikkun Olam unites Israelis and Jews around the world, advancing volunteering for the welfare and empowerment of communities in need in Israel and in India.

LEADERS for Tikkun Olam's Mission Statement: LEADERS for Tikkun Olam project will unite 25 Israelis and Jews for a 5 months training period in Israel and a 3 months mission in India.
LEADERS for Tikkun Olam provides a unique opportunity for 25 young professionals to connect to Judaism through social involvement and international development, while experiencing life in Israel with Israeli peers.
The project is supported by the Jewish Agency and the government of Israel through "MASA" company.
Screening process will start on July 1st 2008.
