Description:
Volunteer with TAMIHA to fulfill our objectives. You can help from teaching kids at the orphanage to training widows on micro-finance. Also, we have home visits and clinics to work with HIV victims. Teach nutrition and start up income generating activities for the widows and the OVCs (orphans and vulnerable children), or you can work in the office to assist in fund raising, report writing and general office practices.
Highlights:
Tanzania Millenium Hand Foundation (TAMIHA) is a nongovernmental and not for profit organization established in 2006. TAMIHA aims at reducing poverty and other vulnerability situations in Tanzania communities. It seeks to do this by addressing Millennium goals.
Qualifications:
People from all walks of life who think its time to help the society in need are welcome to participate in our volunteer program.

Typical Volunteer: Anyone who is active and can walk for some kilometers a day, physically fit but this is not a limitation as we can always have positions at either our office or any of the groups.
