Description: St. Petersburg, also known as the "Venice of the North" for its beautiful winding canals along the River Nera, is a fantastic place to learn Russian. After class, you can go on a boat cruise along the river, visit the Hermitage Art Gallery, or snap some photos of the countless ornate palaces, churches, and monuments around the city.

Our school in St. Petersburg is conveniently located near the Nevsky Prospekt, in the heart of St. Petersburg. With Standard and Intensive Russian language courses, as well as Private Lessons courses ranging from 15 to 40 per week, you will certainly see a significant improvement in your Russian language skills. You can even enroll in an Academic Year course or put your Russian skills to practical use with a Volunteer Work and/or Work Experience opportunity!

Qualifications:
- Intermediate level or higher required in the Russian language
- Work Experience and Volunteer opportunities are available for a duration of anywhere from 4 to 24 weeks
- A minimum 4-week normal language course must precede the work placement or volunteer project
- Generally, students must be 18 years or older in order to participate in a volunteer or work experience program, although some organizations require a higher age
- Sample work placements include sales and marketing, finance, office management, medical care, public relations, and mass media (journalism)
- Sample volunteer opportunities include working with orphan and disadvantaged children at a children's hospital, teaching English/German as a second language, and other social/community projects
