Teaching Position Available in Rural Communities

Description: Accommodation and activities included, with meals a wonderful project offers volunteer a deeply rewarding, unique and varied cultural experiences deep in the heart of rural communities in Cameroon. These incorporates an educational Enrichment project. Depending on your stay and the needs at the time, you will normally be involved in the projects at hand.

During your stay you will be able to take advantage of many free activities which are provided for your days off, these includes some coomunities meetings, cultural dance, mountain racing, open feries and cultural exhibitions, visits to some parks, beach etc.

Educational Enrichment Project

Schools in the rural communities in Cameroon are desperately underfunded with poor facilities and a shortage of adequately trained teachers as compared to schools in the urban and inter urban cities(big cities, added to these while we have young talented and eager to learn Young Cameroonian Children as a rersult opportunities for them to do so are hindered by the many chanllenges that Rural life offers for them.

As a volunteer, you will be assisting the Enegetic volunteer coordinator, to supplement day to day learning of youngsters by providing a safe learning environment conducive for having fun, engaging creative capacities and catering to the needs of the youths. Our atmosphere is conducive and rewarding volunteer experience, simultaneously offering much needed academic assistance to local school children. The benefits are many: cultural exchange, twining program (having pals abroad)Linguistic immersion and provision of an essential Education.

Teaching Position Available  in  Rural Communities

Highlights: On your days off we have so many activities that will give you creativity of a whole globe about Cameroon culture and environment, e.g some community meetings, cultural dance, mountain racing, open ferries and cultural exhibitions, visits to some parks, beach etc.
