Dominican Education Exchange Programs

  Dominican Republic

Term: Academic Year, Fall, Spring, Summer, Throughout the year, Trimester, Winter 
Durations of Program: 1-2 weeks, 2-4 weeks, 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks, 3-6 months, 7-12 months, 1-2 years and over 2 years
Typical Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks
Dates: Year Round

Description: We have a very large number of programs and students or volunteers are requested to submit their particular needs while providing us with a resume for an evaluation & consideration.

Highlights: Most of the programs include briefings before arrival in the Dominican Republic, Airport meeting and greetings plus transportation to the hotel, home, etc.

The students are given a briefing and pertinent information upon arrival about the country,society in general, cross-cultural seminar, basic Spanish language, economic, politics and safety.

Due to the fact that we offer a large number of very diversified programs and volunteer opportunities, it is impossible to outline the highlights. But it will be provided to you upon request.

Qualifications: Programs for internship and volunteer services requires at least basic training in whatever program a candidate wants to intern in. Please send us your request and curriculum vitae for consideration.

  • Typical Volunteer: A typical volunteer is a mature individual who is open-minded, motivated,tolerant, kind and willing to adjust, learn and teach. Preference is given to candidates who could work independently, make decisions and take care of himself/herself. One does not need to have any experience.
