Description: Medo is a small, grassroots organization in rural, indigenous Soloy, Panama. We need volunteers in a variety of projects such as English teaching, providing general assistance to the director and volunteer coordination, projects in health and sanitation, environment, women's empowerment, poverty reduction, etc. Please contact us or find us on google if interested in learning more!

Volunteer in Soloy, Panama

Highlights: Volunteers will get to stay with a family in the Ngobe-Bugle Comarca. While learning about our culture, you can work on a variety of projects-whatever you find interesting!

Qualifications: Volunteers should be monetarily self sufficient, be self motivated, have a good sense of humor and want to live in an indigenous mountain village of Panama. Volunteers should have some knowledge of Spanish prior to their arrival. Medo does not discriminate based on sex, age, race, sexual orientation, or nationality.

Cost Include Description:
Cost includes homestay with a local family who will provide you with a private room, 3 meals/day, and 2 gallons/day of boiled water.
