Description:
Prepara las clases de inglés del Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria de la Asociación Ak´Tenamit orientandolas al Turismo Sustentable y al Bienestar Rural. Impartir las clases de inglés en el Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria. Evaluar a los alumnos y las alumnas. Realizar los informes que requiera el Departamento de Educación y la Asociación AkTenamit Asistir a las reuniones de coordinación del Departamento de Educación de la Asociación AkTenamit
Highlights:
Live on the Río Dulce in the humid tropical rainforest of eastern guatemala and work with a group of Q´eqchi mayans who have organized thsi project in order to improve their community and their childrens´future. Work with local health promoters in a rural primary health clinic to help members of the local Q´eqchi community food and housing are covered by AAT.

- Food covered by AAT-rice, beans and tortillas - On site housing provided by AAT - Volunteer can stay at office Guatemala City when arriving/ leaving - Volunteer must purchase their own travel insurance - Personal travel and travel to and from the project is covered by Volunteer
