Description:
Teaching: Volunteers may be required to teach vocational, technical, elementary and secondary school subjects alongside English, such as basic science, nutrition, home management, arts, introduction to computers and physical education. You don't need to be a certified teacher to volunteer.

Orphanage: Volunteers help in developing creative programs such as art, music, dance, sports, assist in bathing the children, dressing them up and helping them with their home works or putting them to sleep. Additional help on day trips, sanitation, cooking, and administration may be needed. One of the most wonderful opportunities that work in an orphanage can give you is the chance to share your love.

Healthcare: Volunteers support the local healthcare providers to record attendance, offer first aid, basic healthcare, record patients history, temperatures, perform patients examinations, provide pre-natal care, assist in deliveries, offer education to clinic attendants and community groups. A wonderful opportunity for volunteers to become familiar with the challenges and health issues of developing countries. The equipment is quite basic and the amount and variety of medicines are very limited. Tepa is the place to be.

Qualifications: Volunteers should be at least 16 years of age, in good health, willing to work at manual, unskilled jobs, and willing to live with others in simple living conditions. Other than these modest requirements, there are no other qualifications necessary to become a volunteer.
