Antigua is not only a safe, welcoming, and festive city in Guatemala - its city center, where our school is located, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The remarkably preserved colonial buildings, cobblestone streets, and volcanic mountains surrounding the city make Antigua a picturesque and unique place in which to study Spanish. Our Spanish language school in Antigua boasts a very central location, a lively patio and garden where students can chat and meet up between or after class, and excellent modern facilities. Courses consist entirely of private lessons, ranging from 20 to 30 per week. This is a great way to ensure rapid progress in the language, no matter what level of Spanish you have! During your course you can also choose to stay in our student residence or with a carefully selected Guatemalan host family. Either way, you will be sure to make lasting friendships while discovering all Antigua has to offer.

Qualifications:
Volunteer Work must be taken in conjunction with a minimum 2-week Spanish course at our school in Antigua, Guatemala. Your volunteering can take place during or after your Spanish course, and participation requires an Intermediate level or above of Spanish. Sample placements include ecological projects, primary schools, local orphanages, and hospitals. There is no better way to learn Spanish than to do so while serving the community in which you are studying!
