Durations of Program: 1-2 weeks, 2-4 weeks, 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks, 3-6 months, 7-12 months, 1-2 years and over 2 years
Typical Duration of Program: 5-8 weeks

Description: 1. In the Teaching Monks project, volunteers teach novice monks at a few different schools within the Chiang Mai area.

2. Volunteers in the HIV orphanage project work directly with children who have been orphanged due to HIV related experiences.

3. Volunteers in the Single Mother's Home Project serve within an organization that helps single mothers (mostly young) in crisis acquire skills and knowledge to obtain independent self sufficiency.

4. Volunteers in the Public Parks and Landscape Development Project serve within the division of Public parks, landscape development and special event planning of Chiang Mai City Hall.

Highlights: The highlight of volunteering in our programs is knowing that the service that a volunteer completes truly does assist in the development of Thailand and Thai people.

Qualifications: For most volunteer projects, volunteers have to be over the age of 19 years old.
