There are many opportunities to help out in the Education sector in Ghana. Cherish International School, an Elementary school located in Cape Coast, is our primary partner that is constantly looking for committed volunteers to supplement their full-time teaching staff. Subject areas include Science, Math, Art, Physical Education, and English.
Highlights:
Volunteers can expect to be warmly welcomed by children, teachers and parents alike. Opportunities are available from Kindergarten to Grade Four. A minimum commitment of six weeks is required and longer-term placements are encouraged in the interest of consistency.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. * Interest and enthusiasm towards working with children * Patience * Excellent command of the English language * Flexibility * Cultural Sensitivity

Cost Include Description:
USD 120 a week. This fee covers the cost of airport pick-up, two meals daily, communal living accommodations, and 24/7 in country support throughout your stay.
