Typical Duration of Program: 2-4 weeks
Dates: May 21 - June 6 OR June 18 - July 14
Description:
Do you know that over 90% of trees in Haiti have been cut down, leading to massive soil erosion and economic deterioration? Join hands with youth leaders from Haiti to replenish the ecosystem of Haiti and to inspire local colleges, NGOs, and community organizations to take responsibility for the future of their country. You will receive hands-on training on environmental sustainability and trauma relief, and be able to return with concrete skills to immediately implement in any at-risk community you encounter. The Youth Leadership Training Program teaches you not only about reforestation and environmental sustainability, but about yourself how to sustain your inner strength, idealism, and inspiration throughout your life. All fees include: course fees, housing, food, local transporation. For fundraising tips, please contact Uma. May 21 - June 6 - $600 June 18 - July 14 - $875

Tapping your inner wisdom, you become a model of inner strength, joy and caring for the world. All this is nurtured by a deep connection with a loving and accepting team who dedicate themselves to the challenging and ultimately fulfilling work of personal growth and service.
