Description:
Roles at FoG are diverse and could involve anything from working with local children to starting up small businesses, setting up sports programmes or teaching and running training facilities. We are looking for volunteers on an ongoing to assist with our projects. We have a current particular need for: 1. Qualified English/ TEFL teachers 2. IT experts 3. Marketing and Graphic Designers 4. Sports coaches- volleyball, cricket, swimming, netball, badminton, karate 5. Physiotherapists 6. Qualified, experienced medical staff- GPs, nurses, paediatricians, mental health specialisits 7. Early years education specialists 8. Business development specialists/ entrepreneurs 9. Teachers in hard skills- electricians, plumbers, cooks, sewing, car maintenance etc

At the Foundation of Goodness our mission is to empower the less privileged rural communities by creating a sustainable rural community model. Our work is unique in the region since it is of a holistic nature, attending to all of the needs of the villagers. As such, volunteers have the opportunity to get involved in a number of different ways. If you volunteer with us you will return home having had the experience of a lifetime. Past volunteers have bought with them a wealth of experience and left as members of the family - most stay in touch and many continue to assist from afar in whatever capacity they can.
Qualifications:
We welcome applications from all volunteers. Ideally you will have had relevant experience in one of our project areas. However, we do not have any prerequisite qualifications. We are looking for hard working, enthusiastic people who are able to work on their own initiative.

Cost Include Description:
Volunteers are required to pay for their own travel, insurance, accommodation and living expenses. Accommodation can be provided to suit a range of budgets in the village, starting from USD7.50 per day. In addition, volunteers without professional experience, or who wish to volunteer during a 'gap year' may be asked to make a contribution towards the work of the Foundation of Goodness. Typical Volunteer: Most independent volunteers are qualified and experienced professionals who come to the Foundation to offer their skills and expertise, often setting up their own projects and initatives. We also welcome younger people who are keen, proactive and willing to put in some hard work, particularly those who have had prior volunteering experience in their own countries.
