Description: Sustainable Horizon is a unique international service and travel organization providing authentic and alternative volunteer opportunities throughout Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador and Argentina. Each program is customized to individual or group interests ensuring the most successful and meaningful blend of service, travel, cultural and adventure. All SH programs are dedicated to community service, sustainable development, environmental conservation and voluntourism. Uniting participants with world cultures SH challenges participants to think, grow and learn about themselves and their surroundings through service and cultural immersion.

Build a program with SH to restore the reefs below the crystal blue waters in the Bay Islands of Honduras, lend a hand with community development and eco-tourism initiatives in Nicaragua, work on sea turtle hatcheries and iguana reserves in Costa Rica or assist with greenhouse operations and native habitat reconstruction in the Galapagos Islands to name a few. SH offers a variety of programs for people with an adventurous spirit who want to explore the world and lend a helping hand.

From program inception to completion, a Sustainable Horizon representative works closely with participants to develop and execute a customized international volunteer experience striving to meet and exceed all goals and expectations. A Sustainable Horizon representative will also be present in-country for volunteer support and assistance for the duration of the program. In providing personalized programs, our volunteers are ensured a successful, challenging, meaningful and memorable experience abroad.

Join in our mission to improve the world and the lives of others. Experience a new and vibrant culture by being a part of it!
