Description:
We are looking for volunteers with a degree or experience in Psychology to work with our children. As a psychologist at Casa do Caminho, you will have the following key responsibilities * Evaluate and improve the existing education system
* Give advise and training to the educators
* Work closely with the children and teenagers to help them cope with their past and to improve their social behavior Besides your key responsibilities new projects are always welcome to be set up!

Qualifications:
* Basic Portuguese skills
* Willing to work within 6 months - 2 years volunteer/trainee period

Comunidade Rural Casa do Caminho's Mission Statement: Casa do Caminho is an orphanage situated in the middle of the Tingua rainforest, outside of Rio de Janeiro. Casa do Caminho aims to take the children away from aggression, drugs & criminality in Rio de Janeiro and surrounding suburbs. In the orphanage Casa do Caminho provides children with shelter, health care, education and a lot of freedom to play!
