SUN LOTUS Guesthouse (formerly Iguana Ranch)'s Mission Statement: Sun Lotus Guest House, situated on picturesque land and is a guesthouse mainly geared towards events and group bookings, and a significant part of the business is hosting wonderful weddings.
While the guesthouse hosts a large amount of people throughout the summer it hopes to present a model lifestyle of sustainability and awareness...through the use of recycled, re-used, found, fabricated and gifted materials--Sun Lotus tries to avoids consumerism, waste and consumption and the profoundly negative effects it has on the environment and individuals.
The goals of the guesthouse for the next few years is to create a perma-culture organic food-garden both to become virtually self-sufficient and again to model sustainable home-scale food production.
The eventual goal of the guesthouse will be to become "off-the-grid" and to bring together people of like mind, in a kind and sustainable community.
