Description: Live with a host family and volunteer in an orphanage in Huancayo or Lima Peru. This placement provides a powerful cross-cultural experience which many volunteers are so moved by that they come back to visit us here again. No special skills are required, you just need to be open to providing a lot of love and attention to some very special orphans.

A fee of $350 USD per month (plus $50 registration fee) includes a private room with a middle-class Peruvian family, 3 meals a day in the home, volunteer placement, staff support, and local cultural excursions.

Please note: volunteers are responsible for their own travel and insurance expenses (likely at least $700 USD including your plane ticket to Peru depending on where you´re coming from).

Spanish lessons are available if volunteers are interested.
