Dates: August/September 2008 to August/September 2009

Description: The program offers about 75 placements for international volunteers to stay for one year in Germany and share the life and work of an anthroposophic social institution. Most of the host projects are active in the field off care for disabled people or care for elderly people. Please ask for further information.

Social Voluntary Service in Germany

Highlights: 20 days off refelction seminars within an international group.

Qualifications:
* personal motivation to work in a social community with handicapped or elderly people
* at least basic German language knowledge
* at least 18 to 80 years old
* short practical work experience in the home country before the start of the voluntary stay

Cost Include Description:
The voluntary service is free of charge. Participants only have to take their travel expenses to Germany and back home themeselves.
Volunteers receive during their service
- pocket money, 150 EUR per month
- free insurances (health, third-party and acccident)
- free board and lodging
- 20 days of reflection seminars in Germany within an international group as well as staff support
- travel costs to the seminars during ther voluntary service
