Description:
CCUSA has partnered with You To Africa to offer a host of life changing Volunteer Opportunities. We offer 18 different Volunteer Project options to make a world of difference, ranging from Environmental conservation projects on coastal and wildlife reserves, working with youth in orphanages and hospitals, and working to assist struggling impoverished communities. These are exceptional and unique opportunities for globally and community minded individuals with a desire to make lasting changes on behalf of individuals, communities, and the environment. Projects are ongoing throughout the year, each ranging between 2 and 8 weeks in length. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Volunteers also have the option to extend their program up to 12 weeks as well as do two different programs back to back.
Highlights:
Our Goal is to match Volunteers with unique opportunities that bring permanent change to the recipient as well as the volunteers themselves. Projects vary from assisting communities that are disadvantaged by Apartheid and poverty, working with animals unique to Africa, as well as some that are conservation and environmental focused. The Projects are located throughout South Africa, but most are based in the Johannesburg and Cape Town areas. Typically, Volunteers can expect to work or live with other volunteers from around the world, giving them the opportunity to create lasting friendships!

All Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, and be high school graduates. Some Options require Volunteers to be 21 years of age or older. All must have a strong desire to work with people and assisting communities, wildlife, or the environment.
