Description:
We are a missionary school training kids to be Costa Rica's future leaders. We are looking for volunteers to teach English, mathematics, geography, cooking, arts, etc, to kids of all levels from kinder garden to high school. They have to be individuals open to raise their own support and ready to serve. We have classes Monday to Friday 8:00 to 2:00 P.M.
Highlights:
We are a Christian School that is focused on training Tomorrow's leaders. Several of our students are Pastors' and Missionaries' kids. Our three major focuses are: Christianity, English, and excellent education. We are located in Heredia, the nearest city to San Jose. Our group of students are close to 100, from kindergarten to high school. We have a good working environment. The Vision: Glory Christian School is a school of Excellence, Based on the Word of God, Filled with the Spirit, Building Believers through Discipleship,Training Mature Leaders that Reproduce Themselves in Others, Impacting Costa Rica and the Nations.
Qualifications:
* Christians. Committed to serve and high school education minimum. * Pastoral, church, and personal references are required. Volunteers to teach English have to be committed to come for at least a year. * Mission minded Teachers. Flexible and a heart to serve God. * Costa Ricans speak Spanish but Spanish is not required. The language English is used. * You have to raise your own funds to support you and be open to live with a Costa Rican family or share an apartment with some other volunteer.
