Description: United Planet's Quest Volunteer Abroad program offers you or your group a life-changing opportunity to interact with local communities through customized work experiences, cultural activities, and home stays. United Planet Quests are offered in 50 countries from 1-52 weeks.

India is a large country in South Asia and in terms of population it is the second largest in the world, with an estimated population of 1.12 billion people. The country is made up of 28 states and 7 territories, each with its own cultural background. United Planet offers various volunteer opportunities in the state of Rajasthan.

In Rajasthan we offer 4 weeks pre-scheduled and planned age 30+ volunteer programs and 4 or 8 week pre-scheduled and planned volunteer programs for under 30s.

You will be working and staying with people from all over the world in a volunteer camp run by our local partner organization. Besides of volunteer work, you will also be participating in interesting cultural activities and excursions.The activities in Rajasthan primarily relate to education and childcare in various institutions that our partner organization has identified as appropriate for volunteering and the NGO's intervention.

United Planet offers volunteer opportunities to people of all ages and backgrounds and request that volunteers strive to always be: flexible, courageous, open-minded, tolerant and compassionate. United Planet volunteers are offered pre-departure training and materials, which include cultural adjustment tools and other tips to help you adjust to your new surroundings.
