Description: Volunteers will work in an orphanage.

There are around 80 orphans from 2 weeks to 18 years old in the orphanage in Siem Reap.

Volunteers opportunities include teaching English, computer, arts and craft or music and dance. Volunteers may also be a general helping hand in the orphanage.

A reasonable command of the English language will open up doors of opportunities for the orphans in Cambodia. The orphans know very little English and have few opportunities to practise the little English that they know. Volunteers can simply engage the orphans and give them opportunities to practise their English.

The orphanage also has a computer room and welcomes volunteers who can teach computer.

Volunteers can also play with the younger children and be a general helping hand. The children love to have visitors.

Highlights: Volunteers work in an orphanage in Siem Reap. Volunteers will Teach English or Computer in classrooms within the orphanage's compound. Lessons are conducted before or after school. Suitable for qualified teachers, corporate volunteers and student groups! Registered nurses are also welcome!

Take Me To Volunteer Travel believes in equipping volunteers for a meaningful and memorable volunteering experience. During the orientation, facilitators will share volunteering basics and the culture and needs of the Cambodian communities. We also provide the environment for the volunteers to prepare for their voluntary work, such as discussion for suitable volunteer activities and assistance to buy the necessary materials.

Volunteers will have hands-on volunteer experience in Singapore too!   

The Singapore-based program is especially beneficial for volunteers from Europe, America or Australia. The short-stint in Singapore allows international volunteers to adjust to the Asian culture, jetlag and acclimatise to Asian weather.

Of course, take the opportunity to sample our local delicacies, tour around and see how this tiny city state thrives in spite of its lack of natural resources.
