Description:
A couple of organizations in Mexico are working to provide a shelter to underprivileged children, especially the girls, and also offering th em educational opportunities. The abused and abandoned girls are getting a homely environment and other skill oriented trainings in the orphanage. You can also as a volunteer, make a difference in the life of those physically and psychologically abused girls by teaching th em conversational English, and any other creative skills you know and helping th em to build and revive their lost confidence.
Highlights:
You will work with the girls who age between 14 and 18 and you can also teach them any other subject like Math and Science depending on your interest. Orphanage volunteers also help the children in their homework and assist the staff with computer, other activities including the kitchen. You will also have the time and opportunity to explore the Guadalajara , the second largest and most vibrant city of Mexico during weekends and free time.
