Description: This volunteer project of El Salvador is the perfect project for those looking to acquire some hand-on experience. With a number of projects aiming to assist communities/organizations by providing them with various levels of self-sufficiency, this project is perfect for the volunteer with the "can do" or "will do" attitude. There are currently numerous projects needing the assistance of able bodies and helping hands.

Highlights: Based on the needs of various communities and organizations as well as the skills of the volunteers, past projects have included construction to improve various schools as well as water/irrigation projects (providing clean water for communities). Other projects have included assisting orphanages to establish some form of income-generating trade in hopes of arriving at some level of self-sustainability.
