Description:
Located in a more rural setting having more basic accommodations, this volunteer El Salvador project is perfect for volunteers wanting to experience the small town side of El Salvador . The town of San Fernando is a small community in the mountains of El Salvador with a very warm, welcoming population of approximately 1000 people.
Highlights:
Volunteers in this project will provide assistance to an already-existing computer center within the community which provides the use if the internet and various other computer-related services. Most of the students here are between the ages of 8 - 15 with the occasional adult requiring the use of the computers. The level of English and computer skills taught at this center is quite basic as most of the students are beginners.
Qualifications:
one has to have computer operation and software knowledge.
