Description:
There are many Child Development Centers for the children between the age of 2-6 years in nearby cities and factory areas in Thailand. These centers close to primary schools are being run by various groups like the local government, communities, temples or foundations to provide services to the poor families who have low-paid jobs (mostly the factory workers) and can't afford to hire nannies for their children or send them to private nurseries. The parents drop the children before they go to work and pick them up after office.
Highlights:
As a volunteer in Thailand for the young children, you can teach them to speak and write, walk and run, sing songs, play sports and fun games, shape clays, dance, etc. You can make out your own plans to conduct the classes that suit the need and interest of the young children. Volunteers working with young children will be provided with the teaching and playing materials for the use in the centers. The working hour is between 8:00 am - 12:00 noon. Volunteers will also work in nearby primary schools during the day.
