Description:
The primary schools are located in small communities to provide education to the children between 5-12 years from Grade 1-6. The primary level education in Thailand is free and compulsory. The class size ranges from 10 to 40 depending upon the size of the community and also upon the quality of the school.
Highlights:
The Thailand volunteers will teach English to the students of primary and lower secondary schools for five days a week, Monday to Friday. Apart from this, English teaching volunteers will also encourage the students to take part in extra curricular activities and organize sportive games. Volunteers will teach practical conversational English by telling stories, playing games, performing plays. Volunteers will also teach specific vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. A supervisor at each school will be assigned to help develop teaching lessons
