Description:
Mbonweh is in search of development partners either as individuals, groups or organizations. We also seeking for long term partnerships with development assistance international organizations. Cameroon is famous for hospitality. Our volunteers become our friends.
Highlights:
1) Fundraising: Search for donors, assist in projects writing and follow-up. 2) Teaching: Teaching English, french, Arts, music,drama,computer, or any subject, designing programes or initiating better mothods. 3) Micro-credit management: Working on existing scheme, accountants, credit managers,auditors ,software developers etc. 4) Building engineering: Construction of Women's empowerment centre and the unique school classrooms. 5) Organization of workshops and skills training on gender issues, development issues, agriculture, income generation, business management etc.
Qualifications:
- Basic qualification and motivation for the position - Ability to love and work with underpreviledged people
Cost in US$: $150 per month

Typical Volunteer:
1)Miss Jenny; Australian. 28 years old; first degree in social sciences, no experience but high motivation,very energetic and easy-going person and willing to stay for 4 months.
Accomplishments: Held HIV/AIDS secitisation worhshops in 21 locations, taught French at Unique school project for 1 month and raised funds for the construction of a two classroom, office & toilets block.
2) Miss Wendy Drake; British;37 years old; a banker for 20 years; highly motivated to suspend a good job and came to assist for 6 months.
Accomplishments; Improved on the computerization of the credit scheme; Created the child sponsorship programs of the Unique school project and has acquired sponsorship for 32 children; currently supports the feeding of all the chidren monthly and has continued to work for the organization since her return.
