Highlights: When volunteering at WSWS you will get the chance to learn about and experience wolves and wolf dogs first hand. Living on sanctuary property gives new volunteers the chance to make close friends with both other volunteers and our four legged residents. The remote area in the high desert of New Mexico provides volunteers the opportunity to explore many of the areas natural wonders such as El Malpais National Monument and El Morro National Monument.

Qualifications: Wild Spirit is currently seeking long-term volunteers aged 21 and over to stay at our Sanctuary and participate in all activities. Due to the rustic conditions and the amount of physical labor involved we are looking for strong individuals willing to work outdoors preforming maintenance tasks or helping to prepare the wolves food daily in our wolf kitchen. We also require that volunteers be willing to live a communal environment.
