Description: Volunteers can work at an organic farm, created in 1993 to promote a harmonious approach to agriculture in areas of environmental and human devastation. Volunteers will join local farmers in planting trees, growing vegetables, and raising fish.

Highlights: Vietnam, one of the more recent additions to the "must see" list of places to visit, has a wealth of experiences for the traveler. From the bustling cities to the remote mountains and the beautiful beaches, this is a country that will amaze you at every turn.

Typical Volunteer: There is no typical ELI volunteer. We work with people from all over the world and a variety of backgrounds. ELI has placed volunteers ranging in age from 18-81. Successful volunteers are flexible, upbeat, energetic, and inquisitive.
