Teach in Small Communities

Durations of Program: 1-2 weeks, 2-4 weeks, 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks, 3-6 months, 7-12 months and 1-2 years
Typical Duration of Program: 5-8 weeks
Dates: 1 week-1 year

Description: We provide positions to teach math, science, art, dance, English, and sports in elementary and high schools in several native communities in Ecuador. You will live with a native family and teach in a nearby community.

Teach in Small Communities

Qualifications: Must be 18 or older, like to work with youth, enthusiasm, and desire to help children of low income families. You can volunteer for one week up to one year. No Spanish language requirement.

  • Typical Volunteer: We have a variety of volunteers that range from students recently graduated from high school to people in their mid 20s with a teaching degree to couples in their 40s or 50s. All volunteers must be enthusiastic to work with youth, like to have a great time, and make a difference.

    This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi, South African and Worldwide Participants. This Program is also open to Families, Couples and Individuals
