Description:
Children are regarded as the pillars of any nation. VIN thinks that they are not only the future but also the present. Therefore the organization primarily focuses its programs to explore innate potentials that are not yet realized in children. For the purpose, VIN supports to form Children Clubs in public schools where children can participate and perform various activities to expose themselves in various events. The clubs, in this regard, have been found a good platform for them to practice their Life Skills. The international and local Volunteers have been supporting these clubs by organizing various activities such as empowerment workshops, interaction programs, Life Skills Camps, Career development programs. The outcomes have been wonderful! - Children can publish wall magazines, clean up school environment, conduct various competitions on their own, and perform street dramas and rallies for child rights awareness. VIN therefore aims (children Clubs) to: - Promote participation in learning process - Explore innate potentialities. - Develop life skills. - Provide platform to develop creativity through children club. - Support to transfer classroom learning into real life practices. - Enable to conduct community awareness activities on health, sanitation and environment. - Bring deprived and disadvantaged children into mainstream through inclusive education. In addition, VIN's youth program has two folds aim: to prepare them for their future by enhancing social and professional life skills; and developing confidence in them to deal with the situation and issues that concern them; and to get activities done in children clubs and community. It is therefore encouraging youths to be part of VIN's endeavor to bring changes in children and communities which consequently develops their life skills and prepares them for their future career. You are warmly welcome if you can contribute in anyway (facilitating and providing materials) to strengthen children and youths. In short, VIN aim is to: - Develop life skills in youths and deploy them for development process. - Equip and provide volunteers a platform to link their academic learning into practical life. - Make youths to be proactive for social transformation
