Highlights:
We provide food and lodging in exchange for working in the school. Ecomundi Chalmita forms part of the Nierika Ecovillage, which is situated in a natural paradise and formed by an intersting international comunity. Chalmita is located 20 minutes from Malinalco and 1 hour from Cuernavaca.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in english - Basic understanding of spanish - Expierience working with small children - Creativity - Vocacion for working with children - Ideally has training in holistic pedagogics

Ecomundi Chalmita's Mission Statement: Ecomundi is a tilingual (english-spanish-german) pre- and primary school in rural Mexico with the aim of providing high quality holistic educacion accesible for children independent of their economic background. Our pedagogic concept is based on Montessori Pedagogics and is enriched with elements of other complimentary pedagogic pioneers such as (Rudolf Steiner) Waldorf, Freynet with a strong focus in creating environmental consciousnes in children and their families.
