Description: The Wildlife Conservation Centre is based on the Colima Coast.

GAPEC has recently collaborated with this centre dedicated to preserve endangered species all along the mangroove "Estero Palo Verde" situated on the Cost of Colima.

Highlights: Activities involve: daily centre duties such as clean sea turtles pools, feeding animals, collecting turtle eggs to put them in the nursery, helping baby turtles get into the water the day they are born, fill reports with the staff help, patrolling the beaches, teaching English to people involved in the project, painting signs, patrolling the lagoon in a raft or kayak for bird watching, identification and classification of environtment problems.

Also you can use weekends to do independent travel around the area, there are such a beautiful beaches and cities all the way along the cost.

Qualifications:
Volunteers must enjoy animal conservation, beach and outdoor life and work at patrolling night shifts and day centre duties.
