Description:
Help conserve Swaziland's spectacular game reserves and then explore Southern Africa on safari in Botswana, diving with whale sharks in Mozambique and canoeing down the waterways of the Okavango Delta, before bungi-jumping from Victoria Falls. Project Phase 6 weeks: You will be working in the African bush carrying out valuable conservation work to ensure the long term protection of wildlife in Swaziland. You will learn all about the African Bush and the wildlife it supports and will have the chance to work closely alongside giraffes, impala, rhino, elephants, hippos and lion. This project also works closely with local communities, from building classrooms for orphaned children to designing environmental education centres to teach children about the importance of conserving the wildlife around them. We also include a 2 day 'Game Ranger' training course which you receive certification for. Explorer Phase 6 weeks: The Southern Africa Explorer is six weeks of adventurous activities across five different countries. Trekking in Swaziland, scuba diving in Mozambique, bridge swinging, canyoning, caving and abseiling in South Africa, 4x4 and dug out canoe safaris in Botswana and bungi jumping 111m off Victoria Falls in Zambia

Qualifications:
Enthusiasm to carry out volunteer work in the African Bush, learn about wildlife conservation and gain experience in both conservation and community work. The ability to work as part of a small team.
