Environmental project in the botanical reserve in Monte Barro

Description:
Monte Barro is the only mountain in a hilly area between Milan and Lecco, close to Como Lake. Volunteers will have the chance of admiring the beautiful view, from their accommodation on top of the mountain. Inside the Park of Monte Barro it is possible to take a nice walk and visit the archaeological site and the bird-watching point. Volunteers will work mainly in the botanical reserve at the top of the mountain, removing weeds. Volunteers will be assisted by the Park staff, and will collaborate in the environmental maintenance of the area. The project is based in Galbiate, Lecco district, Lombardia region, North of Italy.
