Description: The project is a follow-up of the workcamps done between 2001 and 2007. The project is a joint initiative of the City Council of Badia del Vallès and the organisation RAI. The initiative aims at improving the youth facilities in an isolated suburban area of Barcelona by creating a project of collaboration between the local youth and foreign youngsters.

The work will consist of:
- Painting of the Casal de Joves (youth centre).
- Restoring paintings at the Casal.
- Some gardening tasks.
- Arranging the yard in collaboration with young local artists.
- Exporting the different art projects (wall paintings, mosaics, sculptures) designed by young local artists to buildings around the town.

Free time activities: Possible visits to Barcelona and the surroundings; getting to know youth and social organizations in Barcelona.

Cost in US$: $290 US

Experience Required: no

Typical Volunteer: Motivated to work voluntarily within an international youth team, tolerant, open-minded and cooperative young person with adventurous spirit.

Age Range: 18 - 30 years old

This Program is open to American and Canadian Participants.
