Description: Volunteering at this wonderful orpahange in beijing with WLS. There are 25 children from 3 years old to 12 years old at the orphanage school. The orphanage school was established in 1998. Our volunteers can take care of the children, play games, tell stories, drawing pictures, playing piano and much more.

Highlights: Our program will give you a chance to make an important contribution to the people of China, and to gain an in depth experience of the country and its culture that will stay with you the rest of your life.

Thoroughly researched and personalized projects
WLS offers projects that focus on matching the interests, skills, and experiences of volunteers with their volunteer work.

Volunteer Placement
We will place you with projects based upon your skills and preferences and the requirements of the projects. With our program you will be placed with different projects which will enable you to get a unique and fulfilling experience. If you only want to be at one project then that is fine just let us know.

Airport pickup
Upon the receipt of the flight information, we will meet you at the airport.

Accommodation
Single room in a student residence building in central Beijing.

Orientation
You will receive an orientation session upon arrival from your WLS Project Coordinator in Beijing where you will receive all the information about your projects and different aspects of life in Beijing.

City tour of Beijing and welcome lunch
On your first day your WLS Program Coordinator will show you around Beijing followed by a welcome lunch.

In-country transportation
We will take you to your project the first time. After that you need to make your own way to the projects, the coordinator will explain how to get around during your orientation.

Support
From the very beginning to the end of the project, WLS will co-ordinate your program and give you support during your program.

Pre-departure support
We help you with any questions that you have regarding your program before you leave.

Donation to the projects
We make a donation to the projects for every volunteer we place.
