Description:
VEI, as part of its support for young women, supports the development of small enterprises in traditional and non-traditional goods. VEI is looking for a volunteer to help us develop a Beading and a Candle-Making project. The project will be located in a rural area of Volta Region, and will aim to train young women in these trades. Volunteer tasks will include: design of the various products, support in training of the young women, marketing of the products (locally, nationally and internationally), develop and facilitate various support classes for these young women including numeracy, literacy, hygiene, early childhood development, business skills, etc.
