Description: Do something different - make a difference: Take the opportunity to visit two countries of traditional charm and rare beauty rapidly opening up to the outside world. Spend two weeks with us discovering the fascinating cities and people of Vietnam and for 3 days volunteer to help improve the life of local orphans.

The Project
The Binh Luc Orphanage near Hanoi provides a home for 43 children from disadvantaged agricultural communities. In many cases the families cannot afford to raise or educate the children and are forced to abandon them. During your time here we intend to help refurbish some of the rooms to improve the leisure and educational facilities, as well as spend time with the children.

As an optional extension to your trip, continue to Cambodia and the World Heritage site of Siem Reap, the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor Wat and the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh.

Qualifications: No requirements, specific skills, education or certifications are necessary to book - just a desire to do something different and make a difference. Only people permitted to work with children unsupervised (and who can supply the relevant paperwork to prove this) will be permitted to work unsupervised with children on our projects - and then at the discretion of those who run the projects.
