The Andean Outreach Program works with local volunteer organizations in Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador to improve the lives of impoverished people through international volunteers. The Andean Outreach Program awards small grants to international volunteers to complete community improvement projects. The AOP was started by a group of former volunteers who wanted to help future volunteers and poor Andean Families work together to improve basic infrastructure and education. We accept applications from volunteers all over the world. Grant Application Process * Volunteers can apply for grants. The application asks for Personal Contact Information, Project Proposal, Project Costs, what the AOP can expect for a deliverable when the project is complete and an essay question about why the project is important. * The grant Applications will be sent to the Program Directors every quarter for their review and a vote. The voting system is simply a rank system and the grants that rank the highest will be awarded. * The AOP will ask for photos, an expense report, and a written conclusion report with results as minimum deliverables of the grant winners. This information will be used as evidence of progress and learning.
