Description:
Volunteers with some background or interest in special education can help at this orphange for boys. General supervision or assisting individual children with major disabilities will have a huge impact on the quality of care offered to the boys. The children residing at this orphanage have special needs, with varying degrees of pathologies, ranging from Down syndrome to mild cerebral palsy. Volunteers can assist with reading programs and English courses including one on one tuition with some children as well as in daily chores and needs. Daily volunteer projects include sports/play time with kids, reading to children, daily maintenance including feeding at meal and snack times as well as tutorials initiated by the volunteers in specific areas of interest.
